Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the direction of radiologists and other medical providers. The role involves using radiology equipment to produce images used for medical diagnosis and ensuring safety measures are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic procedures to assist in diagnosing injuries, foreign bodies, or pathological conditions.
  • Use radiation safety protocols and protection devices to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate radiologic equipment and adjust settings based on examination specifications.
  • Document patient data, ensuring accurate coding and billing.
  • Maintain and clean radiology equipment as needed.
  • Rotate on-call duties as assigned by the department manager.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology Program.
  • Must be ARRT(R) certified or board eligible; must obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Certification to practice and administer radiation in the State of Washington required.
  • CT experience is required.
  • Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable for qualified candidates.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of radiographic techniques and patient care protocols.
  • Ability to work with radiation safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to follow protocols and solve practical problems with attention to detail.
