PSYCHOTHERAPIST OR PSYCHOLOGIST

The Opportunity

Our client, EHN – Nouveau Départ, a leading expert in private addiction treatment in Montreal for over 35 years, seeks a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist or Psychologist to join their esteemed clinical team. With a strong reputation for providing comprehensive medical, therapeutic, and clinical supervision, EHN – Nouveau Départ supports individuals in overcoming addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a 360° treatment program designed for inpatient care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized, client-centered support. Whether you are passionate about leading therapy sessions, developing innovative treatment plans, or collaborating with healthcare professionals, this position is your chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.

The role is based in Montreal and offers flexibility to work part-time or full-time (15 to 35 hours per week).

Responsibilities

  • Therapeutic Leadership: Facilitate therapy sessions using advanced techniques to support clients overcoming addiction and mental health challenges.
  • Personalized Treatment Planning: Design personalized treatment plans in partnership with the medical and clinical team, integrating multidisciplinary insights into comprehensive care strategies.

 

  • Team Collaboration: Foster clear team communication and actively participate in case reviews to enhance client care and treatment outcomes.

 

  • Client Advocacy: Offer compassionate support and serve as a trusted partner, guiding clients through recovery and personal growth.

Key Competencies

Professional Accreditation

  • Must be a member of a recognized professional order that authorizes the provision of group and individual therapy.

Specialized Expertise

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting clients with addiction and mental health challenges.
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic methodologies and best practices in clinical care.

Communication Skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering trust and clarity with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in French is a required qualification.

  • Availability to work a stable yet flexible schedule, adapting to client needs and organizational priorities.
