Cyberstrike is exclusively engaged with a leading Tech Startup in the AI/EdTech space, who are looking to recruit an experienced Psychometrician in the Florida area.
They provide a robust platform for online testing, utilising cutting edge technologies in the AI/ML space. Moreover, this role is purely growth-driven (i.e. you aren’t replacing somebody!), and it’s part of a wider hiring campaign that’s set to continue throughout H1 of 2025.
The role is highly technical and requires advanced knowledge of areas including psychometric methodologies, algorithms and statistical programming – some of your duties will include:
- Creating and presenting technical documentation to stakeholders.
- Designing and overseeing psychometric analysis, including advanced statistical modelling.
- Creating and implementing algorithms using cutting edge technology.
- Working with technologies such as Python, R and SQL.
- Working with a team of junior Psychometricians, providing guidance and mentoring.
In order to be considered for this role, you’ll need to demonstrate the following on your application:
- Demonstrated experience working with technologies such as Python, R and SQL, as well as statistical tools like SPSS and SAS (any experience working with C#, C++, CUDA and Databricks is desirable).
- PhD or EdH in fields such as Exam Psychology, Educational Statistics, Measurement or Psychometrics.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with proven experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders).
- Excellent understanding of technical concepts such as Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Database Design and Cloud Computing.
- Proven experience working in the Education space, ideally within the area of large-scale assessments or online assessments.
In terms of logistics, this role is based on-site in Florida (close to Lake Mary) and they’re offering a salary in the region of $200,000-$300,000 (depending on experience).
It’s also important to note that this organisation doesn’t offer visa sponsorship, so you won’t be considered if you don’t have a legal ‘right to work’ in the US.
