About the Property Accountants Role
Our client, a leading company in the Madison area, is seeking an experienced Property Accountants to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with 2+ years of accounting experience, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities of a Property Accountants
As a Property Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Core Responsibilities
- Preparing timely and accurate financial reports.
- Managing general ledger activities, including account reconciliations, accrual calculations, bank reconciliations, and sales tax processing.
- Generating monthly balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Partnering with teams to develop and complete operational budgets.
- Monitoring and evaluating internal financial controls.
- Overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed.
- Managing cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Preparing custom financial reports upon request.
Qualifications & Skills Required for a Property Accountants
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
