Key Responsibilities
- Product Launches: Drive product launch initiatives from concept to execution, collaborating closely with product, sales, and engineering teams. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful product introductions and strong market adoption.
- Product Positioning & Messaging: Develop and refine the unique value proposition of Mach9’s products, ensuring messaging aligns with target audiences. Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to craft compelling narratives.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, assess the competitive landscape, and understand customer needs. Translate insights into actionable strategies that shape product development and marketing efforts.
- Content Creation: Produce high-impact marketing materials, including product collateral, presentations, case studies, and whitepapers, to effectively communicate the value of Mach9’s solutions across various audiences.
- Customer Engagement: Build relationships with customers and industry experts, gather feedback, and position Mach9 as a thought leader in geospatial technology.
- Sales Enablement: Develop training materials and sales tools to equip the sales team with the knowledge and resources needed to communicate product benefits effectively and drive conversions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Product Marketing Expertise: Proven success in product marketing within a high-growth software company, particularly one with an active user community. Experience leading and managing new product launch campaigns.
- Messaging Strategy & Communication: Strong track record of crafting and executing written and verbal communication strategies for marketing campaigns. Ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling, benefits-driven messaging for both marketing and sales.
- Content Development & Creativity: Skilled in working with creative partners (internal or external) to develop high-quality marketing content. Ability to turn marketing briefs into engaging and effective materials across digital and physical platforms.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in leveraging analytics, KPIs (e.g., lead generation, conversion rates, usage metrics) to assess and optimize go-to-market strategies.
- Customer & Market Research: Expertise in gathering and analyzing market data, industry trends, and competitive insights to inform product strategy and positioning. Comfortable conducting customer interviews, focus groups, and qualitative/quantitative research.
- Digital Marketing Management: Ability to design and oversee a digital marketing funnel in collaboration with specialists.
