Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Customer-Centric Product Development

  • Advocate for the voice of the customer, ensuring all product decisions enhance user experience and address real customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers to research, prototype, and validate solutions before implementation.
  • Lead customer communication efforts related to product enhancements and roadmaps, working alongside marketing teams to drive awareness and adoption of new capabilities.

Customer Insights & Product Discovery

  • Conduct customer interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to gather feedback and validate product assumptions.
  • Assist Product Leadership in identifying market gaps and emerging trends.
  • Monitor customer usage data and support tickets to uncover opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a key product liaison, addressing internal teams’ inquiries, feature requests, and feedback.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Utilize key performance metrics (KPIs) to evaluate product success and guide future enhancements.
  • Work closely with data analysts and BI teams to extract insights that inform product refinements.
  • Drive data-backed product improvements, defining and iterating on product performance KPIs based on measurable outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering teams to refine feature specifications and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Work with UX designers to maintain a customer-first approach in product development.
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to craft messaging, product positioning, and user documentation.
  • Provide stakeholders with feature updates and backlog progress while contributing to roadmap discussions led by senior leadership.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, offering insights on product capabilities, feature requests, and competitive positioning.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring a clear understanding of product requirements for seamless execution.

Ideal Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in enterprise/commercial product management, with a focus on SaaS and B2B software.
  • Experience working in subscription-based business models.
  • Background in B2C software (eCommerce or Online Directories) is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in customer research, product discovery, and problem validation.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and drive successful execution.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development environments and backlog management tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering teams and UX conversations with designers, ensuring business needs translate into practical solutions.

Preferred Skills & Industry Experience

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or Compliance/Risk Management software.
  • Exposure to machine learning, AI-driven insights, and automation in product development.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise third-party integrations, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Familiarity with user behavior analytics tools (e.g., FullStory, Pendo, Amplitude, Google Analytics).
  • Experience managing multi-region product requirements in a global market.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management (e.g., PDMA, CSPO, SAFe, Pragmatic Institute) are a plus.
