About the job
Title: Principal Data Scientist
Duration: 12-month contract to hire
Location: Remote (US) for contract duration, required to be in Seattle at time of conversion to permanent employee with client
Required Skills & Experience
– 10+ years working within Data Science
– Comfortable and experience working in a Sole Partnership
o Extremely strong in forecasting and modeling
o Previous experience as an Operational Researcher
– Experience with Revenue Management, Loyalty, Networking, Planning, etc. (Ops)
– Strong experience in Python (80% of this role will be hands on)
– Strong experience AB testing
– Strong experience with Attribution modeling
– Strong experience working in a cloud environment (Azure, Databricks preferred- AWS, GCP, Snowflake acceptable)
– Previous experience working in transportation or travel domain (airlines, cruises, trains, hotel, rentals, etc.)
– Masters or PHD
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
– Acquisition/ Merger experience – experience with data migration from on prem to the cloud
Job Description
– Building RM AI initiatives
– Minimum supervision from leadership
- – Discuss requirements with RM leaders and translate that to Data Science/ Data Science team
Compensation:
$85-95/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
