Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial performance and department forecasting, utilizing a strong understanding of key business metrics, including sales, margin, and inventory KPIs.
  • Support the development of an optimal product assortment and strategic flow plans, creating effective sales and inventory strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Drive inventory productivity, including managing end-of-life product activity to enhance overall performance.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities within a 1 to 6-month timeframe by analyzing market trends and business performance.
  • Collaborate with Buyers to develop a detailed, department-level monthly forecast, focusing on sales, margin, and inventory targets aligned with category strategy.
  • Assess and communicate opportunities and risks, responding to sales trends and inventory flows while recommending markdowns and promotions to achieve sales, margin, and inventory goals.
  • Develop and implement new business opportunities, analyzing results and making strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure successful execution of inventory plans and product flows for new club openings.
  • Manage demand forecasts using JDA Demand or BY LDE to optimize order fulfillment.
  • Oversee article-level ladder plans and integrate them into financial planning processes.

Job Qualifications:

  • Preferred 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics, including sales, margin, inventory turnover, and weeks of supply.
  • Excellent problem-solving, retail math, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to organize ideas and communicate effectively and concisely.
  • Capable of presenting findings and influencing team members and business partners using data-driven insights and clear recommendations.
  • Able to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively across teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for coaching, mentoring, and onboarding team members.
