Position:
Physiotherapist to provide in-clinic assessment and treatment services to a variety of client populations including individuals with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions for STD-LTD Insurers, Auto Insurers, WSIB and private referral streams. Position tasks may include but are not limited to:
· Independently manage a caseload with respective administrative/case management duties
· Complete assessment and treatment services for a variety of clients including private and those referred by LTD/Auto insurers, as assigned by management or administrative staff
· Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals including but not limited to Kinesiologists, Occupational Therapists and Psychologists
· Participate in caseload meetings with LTD/Auto insurers’ rehabilitation team as required
· Maintain professional and courteous relationships with clients and customers at all times
· Maintain client and customer privacy and confidentiality at all times
· Keep shared calendar in Smart Simple up to date and refer to it daily to stay on track
· Track billable hours and submit weekly
· Assist the administrative staff in completion of treatment forms for Auto insurers
· Write narrative reports at the frequency requested by the LTD/Auto referral source and as per CVE’s protocols and submit to quality assurance for review within the appropriate timelines.
· Maintain contact with the LTD/Auto, WSIB referral source or customer at at the frequency requested by the referral source and as per CVE’s protocols to keep them informed of the client’s status and progress.
· Maintain proper documentation of session notes, communication, and other actions in a timely manner in each client’s file in Smart Simple per college regulatory guidelines and CVE’s protocols and File Management Process.
· Participate in marketing initiatives as required and requested
· Assist in the development of new programs and treatment services
· Assist in maintaining a healthy, clean and functional clinical environment
· Provide superior customer service to all clients
Employment Requirements:
· Completed university degree in Physiotherapy
· Duly registered in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO)
· Bilingual (French & English) Oral and written an asset
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Professional Liability Insurance
· Strong team player
· Strong clinical judgement
· Ability to work independently
Hours of work to be determined and dependent on clinic hours/requirements. We are open to part-time and full-time availability, as well as salary or consultant agreements.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
