About the job
Calian is proud to continue a long-standing contractual relationship with the Department of National Defence (DND) to provide healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces. Through the Health Care Provider Contract, Calian employs health care professionals across Canada who are integral to supporting the health and wellbeing of our military members.
Position Overview

The Canadian Armed Forces provide exceptional medical care to their dedicated military members through state-of-the-art outpatient clinics located on Canadian Forces Bases nationwide. A vital part of this comprehensive healthcare system is the on-site pharmacy, where skilled pharmacists collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the health and readiness of those who serve. Calian in currently seeking an enthusiastic civilian pharmacist to join our dynamic team at Canadian Forces Base Shilo. Responsibilities
- In this role you will be responsible for dispensing medication and educating patients on their medications.
- Liaising with Physicians and reviewing medication inventory will be part of your regular duties.
- You will have the opportunity to directly impact the health and wellbeing of our Canadian Armed Forces while working autonomously in the pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba with proof of education and completion of national board examination
- Current CPR Certification
- 3 years experience in the past 5 years providing direct patient care as a clinical or community pharmacist.
Additonal Requirements
- You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level
