Pride Health is hiring a Pharmacist to support our client’s healthcare facility in Austin, TX. This 13-week contract opportunity is perfect for experienced pharmacists passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pharmaceutical Care: Ensure appropriate medication dosages based on patient-specific factors, accurately enter orders, and prevent medication incidents.
- Clinical Practices: Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols, ensuring compliance across the pharmacy team.
- Patient Safety: Prevent medication errors, address drug-related issues, and ensure safe medication delivery adhering to established protocols.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a Ph.D./Pharm.D. degree.
- Licensing: RPH certification from the state of Texas.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a hospital staff pharmacist (pediatric experience preferred).
- Training: Completion of 40 hours of training in compounding sterile products, accredited by ACPE or ASHP, is preferred.

- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Pay Range: $50.00 – $54.20/hour
Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
