We are seeking PSWs for an LTC home in Collingwood. Day, evening, and night shifts are available. We are seeking casual individuals that can commit to working every other weekend and pick up shifts as needed. Hours can vary from casual to full-time based on facility needs.
Job Benefits:
- Competitive pay at $21 (+ $3 PSW wage enhancement) = $24/hr

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Providingresident-focused care that meets the needs of residents
- Maintaining open communication with residents and their families
- Assisting with personal care including eating, dressing, transferring, toileting, hygiene, grooming, and bathing as per residents’ care plans
- Monitoring and noting any changes topatient care plans
- Providing medication support and management
- Providingcognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
- Providingoral and dental care
- Responding to all emergency situations
- All other duties, as assigned
Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
- PSW certification(NACC certificate required if graduated from a private college)
- Valid CPR certificate
- Completion of Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Satisfactory professional references
- A minimum of 1 year experience working in a LTC facility is required
- Experience using Point of Care(POC) is required
- Ability toaccurately follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
