Our client, the world’s number one entertainment streaming platform has a one year hybrid Performance Marketing Specialist contract to work onsite at their Hollywood, CA location.
This position pays 80.00 per hour + benefits as a W2 employee through Talent Table. Our client offers complimentary meals/beverages and snacks and a laptop of your choice. This role requires a candidate to be in the LA area and have ability to work on site 3 days per week. You must be able to to work in the US and we do not sponsor H1B visas.
The Opportunity
Marketing Business Operations (BizOps) works with teams across the organization to build and connect the global infrastructure and data needed for marketing to deliver business impact. The team identifies opportunities to improve marketing data and technology, working closely with technical partners to unlock new capabilities and insights for marketing. The BizOps team is visible throughout the organization, who depend heavily on the perspectives of the team to inform important decisions and execute highly visible special projects that drive the ongoing growth and scalability of the marketing business.
BizOps is looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to assist the team in building new performance marketing and targeting capabilities. The Performance Marketing Specialist will support the team in coordinating and executing performance marketing campaigns and tests.
They will also help synthesize learnings and best practices into playbooks for marketing teams to leverage. This role will partner across a diverse set of stakeholders including local marketing teams around the world, brand marketing, product marketing, marketing data science, and engineering. This role will also be external facing, partnering closely with our reps at various digital advertising platforms to launch, optimize, and report on performance marketing initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
● Support the end-to-end project management for performance marketing campaigns/tests, including managing timelines, meeting agendas/notes, and
communications to stakeholders.
● Facilitate creative review and delivery between regional, brand, and product marketing teams, ensuring assets are safe zone and legally compliant, notes from advertising platforms are provided in a timely manner, and all creative is delivered on time and in the right specs.
● Partner with product marketing and globalization teams to draft ad copy, translate/adapt it for each market, and get final sign off by local marketing leads.
● Assist with ad operations, including partnering with platform reps to set up campaigns/tests, upload creative into the platforms, build and QA ads, and set the ads live.
● Monitor performance of the campaigns/tests in flight and execute optimizations in partnership with the advertising platforms.
● Translate campaign/test result reports from marketing science partners into concise, visual, and exec-friendly decks for presentations.
● Build performance marketing resources for teams to reference in the future, such as a repository of the top performing creative and a source of truth for ad format specs across platforms.
The Ideal Candidate Is/Has…
● 4+ years of experience in performance/digital marketing
● Proficiency building campaigns and ads in platforms’ “Ads Manager” tools for businesses (e.g. (e.g. Meta, Google, and TikTok Ads Manager)
● Expertise in conversion-optimized (i.e. lower-funnel) digital marketing strategies, tactics (e.g. bidding, tas (e.g. bidding, targeting), and metrics
● Familiarity with entertainment streaming/marketing industries
● Ability to work with creative, operational, strategic, and technical partners
● Is resourceful, endlessly curious, and has a high comfort level project managing complex initiatives with many moving parts and stakeholders
● High tolerance for change and the capacity to accomplish enormous amounts of work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
● Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
