As a Performance Marketing Manager, you’ll be joining a highly selective team with educational backgrounds from Stanford, Princeton, MIT, and more, with a wide variety of career experience across investment banking, corporate strategy, consulting and engineering, in addition to start-up and marketing experience.
The Performance Marketer in the Digital Marketing team will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and growth through innovative social media, digital marketing, and SEO strategies. With a focus on data-driven decision-making, the Performance Marketer will plan, execute, and optimize campaigns to achieve business goals.
Please note that this role is on-site at HQ in San Mateo, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and customer acquisition across various digital platforms (including social media, email marketing, SEO, and PPC).
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize strategies for maximum ROI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital marketing strategies with overall business goals.
- Manage and optimize website content for SEO, in addition to overseeing paid search campaigns to maximize visibility and conversion rates.
- Drive innovation and experimentation in digital marketing tactics to stay ahead of industry trends and leverage new growth opportunities.
- Report on campaign performance and strategic insights to senior management, providing actionable recommendations for future initiatives.
Qualifications
- 4-year undergraduate degree (quantitative field of study strongly preferred)
- 4+ years of work experience, with a proven track record of successful customer acquisition strategies.
- Strong quantitative background, with experience using data and metrics to inform marketing decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with high attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with digital marketing automation and CRM tools preferred
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in analytics tools preferred (e.g., Google Analytics, SQL).
- Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and growth hacking.
