IDR is seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Specialist to join one of our top clients in El Segundo, CA. Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Payroll Specialist:

  • Full-time position reporting to the Payroll Supervisor
  • Responsible for a wide variety of payroll processing activities
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of biweekly payrolls using ADP Workforce Now
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for questions/resolution related to ADP, company policies, as well as compliance of federal and state regulations as they relate to payroll tax, wage and hour laws, and garnishments
  • Providing support to the Senior Payroll Manager and acting as back up for all roles in the Payroll Team

Required Skills for Payroll Specialist:

  • 3+ years of payroll experience with a solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws
  • Multi-state payroll experience
  • Advanced knowledge of PC applications (principally Excel and MS Office products)
  • Ability to work independently with strong time management and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, Success Factors/Employee Central, and Kronos/Dimensions applications
  • FPC or CPP designation strongly preferred
