About the job
We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager for an award-winning Insurtech Start-up in London. Focused on process optimisation and driving efficiency, you’ll also have the chance to streamline operation processes and make impactful decisions. Based on-site and working closely on a daily basis with the Operations Director, you will also liaise with the senior team, and will play a pivotal role in shaping the way our Client grows and succeeds.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on with direct involvement with process optimisation
- Driving daily operations, ensuring the Operations team consistently outperforms KPI
- Creating and executing forward-thinking strategies to fuel growth and efficiency
- Hiring, onboarding and mentoring to accelerate your team’s professional development
- Working with Product and Engineering teams to automate and streamline processes, whilst
uncovering opportunities to scale
- Managing escalated issues and delivering outstanding levels of customer satisfaction
- Ensuring compliance and risk are in line with regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC/AML)
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience needed in support operations management within a fast-growing Insurance or Insurtech company
- Proven B2C experience, leading high performing Operations teams
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills at all levels
- Use of a customer support tool such as Zendesk is essential
