Are you an experienced and self-motivated Operations Manager with a background in food manufacturing? Join a dedicated food manufacturing site in Worcestershire, where you’ll have end-to-end responsibility for maintaining and improving operational excellence and quality standards.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will manage a range of critical functions, ensuring the site operates efficiently and meets high standards of quality, safety and compliance. Key areas of responsibility include:
- Compliance, Quality Delivery & Production
- Warehouse Operations, Stock Management & Facilities
- Transport & Customer Logistics
- Health & Safety & Site Hygiene
Your role will involve driving site-wide improvements, from production processes to customer logistics, making sure all standards align with BRC requirements and industry best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in food processing operations, with a strong background in quality and compliance management.
- Proven experience in managing teams and working in a collaborative environment.
- Solid understanding of BRC standards and operational effectiveness in a food manufacturing environment.
Relevant qualifications:
- Level 3 HACCP
- Level 3 Food Safety
- Level 3 Food Hygiene for Manufacturing
- Internal and 3rd Party Auditing experience
