The Role:
Are you ready to take charge of operational excellence in agri-tech innovation? As our Operations Manager, you will be a key player in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our business. Joining us at a pivotal time, you will have a major impact on shaping our operations from the ground up, with vast potential for growth.
You will be key in:
- Manage Supply Chain & Inventory: Oversee procurement, inventory control, and supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective sourcing and timely production.
- Lead Manufacturing Operations: Drive efficient, high-quality production by streamlining processes and collaborating with engineering and design teams.
- Oversee Logistics & Distribution: Coordinate transportation, shipping, and warehousing to ensure optimal product storage and timely delivery.
- Manage Project Implementation & Installation: Plan and execute fertigation system installations, working with clients and teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Lead Customer Onboarding & Support: Develop training programs, guide customers through onboarding, and provide ongoing technical support and maintenance.
- Develop Processes & Optimize Operations: Develop and document new systems to enhance efficiency, continuously incorporating feedback for improvement.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses experience in the following areas:
- Expertise in supply chain and inventory management, with a proven track record of optimizing procurement and stock control.
- Strong leadership in manufacturing operations, with the ability to streamline workflows and drive process improvements.
- A deep understanding of logistics and distribution to ensure cost-effective, timely deliveries and optimal product handling.
- Strong background in customer onboarding, training, and technical support, with an emphasis on creating comprehensive systems and documentation.
- Skills in process development and optimization to enhance operational efficiency and maintain consistent, high-quality standards.
- Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams, building a culture of accountability and growth.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Solid experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, agriculture technology, or controlled environment agriculture. Experience with fertigation, irrigation, or mechanical systems is an asset.
- Skills: Strong project management, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and external partners.

Compensation and Benefits:
At Nourish Labs, we are committed to fair compensation and growth for all our team members. As an Operations Manager, you’ll start with a competitive salary ranging from $68,000 to $78,000, reflecting the growth you’ll experience in this role. This is an opportunity which permits you to grow and eventually build a great team around you.
