I am currently recruiting an experienced Operations Director for an independent Contract Caterer, with a fantastic reputation for fantastic food and strong client relationships. This role is not for the faint hearted – you will be responsible for 50 very different contracts, each with their own demands and business requirements. You will lead will lead and inspire a dedicated team of 4 Operations Managers across the London and the South East.
The ideal Operations Director will have the following knowledge/ experience;
- Experience in a senior management role, within Contract Catering – ideally within B&I or the Independent education sectors
- Great understanding of the client’s needs
- Managed a patch of business with a combined turnover of £15-20m+
- Strong knowledge of both hospitality and retail business with fantastic financial acumen
