As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic, highly organized, and proactive individual to join our team as an Operations and Business Manager.

The Opportunity

This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of the business, working closely with the owner to ensure seamless operations and drive growth. This is not a role for someone who sits back and waits for instructions; we’re looking for a take-charge individual who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all business operations, including financial management, crew scheduling, and administrative duties.
  • Prepare estimates, write quotes, and manage invoices using QuickBooks.
  • Coordinate with the accountant and ensure timely payments to trades and vendors.
  • Develop and implement SOPs to streamline processes and ensure efficiency.
  • Manage the owner’s email, calendar, and daily priorities.
  • Support the growth of a new startup business within the company.
  • Handle marketing tasks, including Canva design and managing web hosting services.
  • Conduct occasional local travel to job sites and, potentially, North American travel as the business grows.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Google Docs, QuickBooks, and Canva.
  • Construction or project management experience is a valuable asset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a high-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Startup mentality: adaptability, problem-solving, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
