Your Role as an Inpatient Occupational Therapist
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to help patients regain function or transition to the next level of care.
- Develop individualized and timely treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
- Foster positive connections with patients, fellow clinicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the hospital, collaborating with physicians, case managers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an AOTA-accredited occupational therapy program.
- Valid state licensure.
- NBCOT registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
