About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a full-time, day shift basis. In this role, you’ll evaluate, plan, and implement prescribed treatment programs designed to restore patients’ abilities, promote independence, and prevent further disability. You’ll provide advanced care including assessments, goal setting, treatment planning, and caregiver education, all while supporting patients through their recovery journey following illness, injury, or surgery. As part of the team, you’ll help foster a collaborative, efficient work environment and contribute to the responsible use of healthcare resources. This role also includes supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistants.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy preferred

Candidates with a combination of relevant education, training, and at least three years of experience may also be considered
-
Must hold a current California Occupational Therapy license
Skills & Abilities:
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills (Spanish language proficiency is a plus)

Proficient in necessary computer software and medical equipment

Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Capable of working both independently and collaboratively

Able to provide supervision and guidance effectively

Physically able to perform patient care activities (hearing, vision, touch sensitivity, color/smell differentiation as needed)
Licensure/Certification:

Current California Board of Occupational Therapy license
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association
