Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to evaluate children’s occupational performance.
  • Develop and implement personalized intervention plans tailored to each child’s needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support students’ success.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation through written and oral reports that adhere to organizational, AOTA, and state guidelines (Maryland and/or D.C.).
  • Communicate effectively with families and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to care.

Ideal Candidates Possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • NBCOT certification (or eligibility)
  • Crisis management certification (or eligibility)
  • A current (or temporary) Maryland OT license (or eligibility)
  • A passion for working with children of diverse abilities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
