Your Role as an Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will assess patient needs, develop customized recovery plans, and deliver therapy that restores, reinforces, and enhances physical abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Valid, unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
