Position Overview
Under the guidance of a licensed nurse, this role supports patient and family care by fostering teamwork, maintaining effective communication, and utilizing fundamental care skills to enhance the overall patient experience.
Job Description
Education
Equivalent experience may be considered in place of the required degree or diploma.
- High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
- Completion of an accredited program in the assigned area may be required
Certification & Licensure
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as a nurse assistant
- Currently enrolled in an accredited LVN or RN program
- Successful completion of a nurse assistant training program
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under the direction of an RN.
