Job Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff with both direct and indirect patient care responsibilities.
- Gather and communicate relevant patient data in an objective and professional manner.
- Relay important patient information to RN or LPN to ensure continuity of care.
- Accurately document patient care activities on appropriate forms in accordance with RMC policies and procedures.
- Perform Patient Safety Attendant duties as required.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Note: Nursing Assistants under the age of 18 are not permitted to operate patient lifts.
Minimum Education & Experience
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or successful completion of a Nursing Assistant or EMT course.
- At least one year of experience as a nursing assistant (with a minimum of six months at one facility).
- Currently enrolled in a professional nursing program (LPN, RN, or NP).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience that meets the position requirements.

Licenses & Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
