Position Overview
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for delivering basic nursing care to patients under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Job Description
Education:
- High School Diploma or General Education (GED) required.
- Completion of Hospital Assistant training or equivalent education (e.g., nursing student) is also accepted.
Certification & Licensure:
- CNA – Certified Nurse Assistant certification required.
- BLS – Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification required.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care hospital is preferred, or equivalent experience as a nursing student.
