A fast-growing start-up company in the sports electronics industry is seeking a highly motivated and experienced National Sales Manager to drive their retail expansion across the US! This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for technology, and sports, sneaker, and fashion products, who is sales-driven and can leverage their network to open doors and generate sales. This is a fully remote position where you ll be frequently on the move, traveling across the country and staying in hotels, all while developing and executing sales strategies. Salary Range: $150,000 – $300,000 / year DOE

National Sales Manager Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in sales within the sports, sneaker, or fashion industries
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies in a start-up or fast-paced environment
  • Strong network and understanding of culture-forward retail channels
  • Experience with brands such as Adidas, Nike, Foot Locker, Air Jordan, or similar is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel extensively and manage a flexible, self-directed work schedule
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and drive results

National Sales Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a national sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand retail partnerships
  • Identify and target key retail channels, focusing on grass-roots and culture-forward stores such as Foot Locker, 47 Headwear, Kith, and Supreme
  • Represent a unique and innovative product line, including the first-ever basketball speaker, in a way that resonates with the target market
  • Travel extensively to build relationships with potential retail partners and secure distribution deals
  • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with company goals and product launches
  • Continuously analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Lead by example, setting the tone for a high-energy, results-driven sales culture within the company
