About the job

We are seeking several enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School Teachers for English Language Arts (ELA), Math, Stem Lab and Spanish to join our vibrant educational community. In this role, you will foster a positive and engaging learning environment, guiding students in grades 6-8 through the development of critical reading, writing, and communication skills. As an integral part of the school team, you’ll work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families to promote academic excellence and inspire a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement dynamic ELA, Stem Lab and/or Spanish lesson plans aligned with state standards.
  • Use differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.
  • Foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and creativity in reading and writing assignments.
  • Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records.
  • Engage in active communication with parents and guardians to support student development.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop cross-curricular initiatives.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that encourages student participation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Valid Florida Teaching Certificate in English Language Arts or Statement of Eligibility
  • Proven experience teaching middle school students or in a similar educational setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for student growth.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with educational technology and digital learning platforms.
