Job Summary
Location: Onsite, Monday–Friday (Flexibility required for a 24/7 operation)
We are seeking an HR Manager to lead and oversee human resources operations within an assigned division. This role involves managing key HR functions, including employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services. The HR Manager will play a critical role in implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring a strong and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic HR partner, providing guidance on HR policies and best practices to managers and employees.
- Lead the execution of people-related services, policies, and programs at the assigned location.
- Foster a positive employee relations environment by assessing workplace climate and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Represent the company in unemployment hearings and other employment-related matters.
- Support recruitment, selection, and retention efforts, including conducting orientations and exit interviews.
- Identify training needs, develop training programs, and support career pathing initiatives.
- Oversee new employee onboarding and ongoing employee development efforts.
- Ensure equitable compensation practices by managing job evaluations, salary administration, and wage consistency.
- Partner with managers to navigate Workers’ Compensation cases and facilitate return-to-work processes.
Management Responsibilities
- Supervise professional employees or teams within manufacturing, distribution, or office environments.
- Oversee daily operations and employee performance.
- Contribute to budgetary planning and policy execution.
- Develop, recommend, and implement HR policies to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Handle staffing decisions, including hiring, performance reviews, pay adjustments, and professional development.
Basic Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of HR experience.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Experience delivering presentations and training at various organizational levels.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies consistently.
- Up to 25% travel may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR or SPHR certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing teams, including hiring, developing, and motivating employees.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $110,240 – $165,360 annually (final compensation based on experience, skills, and location).
