Empowering Integrated Care located in Beachwood, OH is looking to add a full-time and part-time Mental Health Therapist to our growing team. Empowering Integrated Care Solutions is an organization with an innovative approach to serving adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses. Ideal candidates for this position will be committed to providing quality care as part of a team of professionals that believe in personal empowerment and the benefit of an integrated care model to enhance outcomes for persons served.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing Crisis Psychotherapy as needed
  • Collaborating with the team for the development of the Individual Treatment Plan using a person-centered approach
  • Collaborating with the Behavioral Health Care Coordinator to maximize positive treatment outcomes for clients
  • Engaging in the monthly team meetings to support the effective treatment of individuals within an integrated care model; participation in bi-monthly psychotherapy departmental meetings/trainings
  • Adhering to a positive team culture and promoting personal empowerment in the treatment process
  • Providing quality care through the provision of identified evidence-based approaches and interventions
  • Participating in activities to promote the professional growth and n development of staff (trainings, conferences, case consultation)
  • Meeting established productivity requirements- 5.5 hours per day/PT staff 75% of work hours
  • Completing collaborative client documentation according to agency policy
  • Providing services and emergency coverage to clients as assigned by designated administrative supervisor
  • Documentation of work time in the application “Time Clock Plus”
  • Working a flexible schedule as appropriate to the needs of the clients
  • Participating in the agency’s continuous quality improvement process

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year experience providing services to individuals with IDD/MH preferred
  • Experience as social work or counsellor trainees welcomed to apply!
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work with individuals with diverse needs
  • Have an acceptable background check, driving record, valid driver’s license
  • An active/unencumbered Ohio license: LSW/LPC or SWT/CT
  • Travel is required to client group homes, day programs, and family homes and may include telehealth based on the ability of the client to participate in telehealth services
