Serene Mind Counseling is a group private practice setting, located in Mesa, AZ. We provide mental health services to adolescents and adults. We are seeking a therapist (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW) to join our team. Responsibilities include conducting psychotherapy, completing assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining progress notes. Clinical supervision towards licensure is provided weekly, along with ongoing professional development support.

Responsibilities:
– Build up to a minimum of 25 client hours per week, in addition to time needed for case management, consultation, and record keeping
– Comply with documentation protocol for best practice, including DSM-5 diagnostic competency
– Document “medical necessity” in progress notes and treatment plans
– Complete notes and other required documentation within 48 hours of session completion
– Have good standing with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and hold a non-independent/independent licensure or temporary license
– Demonstrate knowledge of assessment, crisis intervention, and community resources
– Pass background check, drug screen, and hold an active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
– Have computer access and be comfortable with technology
