Tempo Billing is seeking a full time medical biller to service our growing number of clients. The primary medical services we bill for are:
- Behavioral Health
- IOP
- Pain Management/PMR/Physiatry
- Palliative Care
- Family Medicine
- Skilled Nursing Facility
- Geriatrics
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in revenue cycle management
- Experience in reviewing/interpreting Explanation of Benefits/Remittances
- Ability to review payments for accuracy
- Following up and resolving denied or diminished claims
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to learn new EHR’s, Payer Portals, and Clearinghouses
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Self Motivated
- Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Post payments in EHR, Tebra, Therapy Notes and Simple Practice
- Complete benefit checks and eligibility
- Look up and post payments from payer portals and paper EOB’s
- Work or resolve denials and submit appeals
- Reconcile insurance payments in providers bank account
- Follow set billing process and procedures
- Participate in weekly standup meetings
- Complete continuing education
