Memorial Hospital Belleville & Shiloh: Excellence in Patient Care
Memorial Hospital Belleville is a leading acute care facility offering comprehensive medical, surgical, critical, and emergency services, including Children’s at Memorial for pediatric emergency care. It provides advanced diagnostic and treatment options, heart and vascular care, and is an accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital. Additionally, it holds Lung Cancer Screening Center accreditation from the American College of Radiology and has been a Magnet®-recognized hospital for nursing excellence since 2008.
Memorial Hospital Shiloh, a 94-bed, all-private suite hospital, was awarded Magnet status in 2018 and offers emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery services, medical and surgical care, and critical care.
Medical Support Role
This position assists the clinical care team by performing essential patient support tasks under nursing supervision.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepares and stocks exam rooms.

Performs clinical tasks such as point-of-care testing and EKGs with accurate documentation.

Supports patient flow by managing scheduling, insurance coordination, and resource allocation.

Assists in procedures by setting up instruments, labeling specimens, and providing patient chaperoning.

Collects vital signs, patient histories, and health information, relaying important details to the healthcare team.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED
-
Experience: Less than 2 years (2–5 years preferred)

Certification/Registration: Required in area of expertise
