Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s facility in Kissimmee, FL. This is a 13-week contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Medical Assistant for a primary care setting in Kissimmee, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience providing patient care, assisting physicians, and managing office tasks within a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients according to policy and procedures and prepare them for examinations.
- Record patient care documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate patient care under the direction of physicians and adhere to company standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide courteous, respectful care.
- Organize and sterilize exam and treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
- Practice standard infection control precautions.
- Screen patients via telephone and in-person for intake purposes without requiring clinical judgment.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification (Required)
- High School Graduate or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Active BLS/BCLS Certification.

- Shifts: Regular Shift 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay Range: $800-$900 Weekly
