Equity Staffing is searching for a Medical Assistant in Bethel, CT. This position is with a Fortune 500 organization. *** Specialty:Primary Care, internal medicine ***

Specific Duties:

Provide patient care, clinical summary and direction on next steps or follow up

Act as a member of the care team, including preparing patients to be seen by collecting and recording clinical information as per protocol

Document all patient interactions and other clinical activities accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record (EHR)

Monitor task buckets in order to respond to tasks in a timely manner, follow up on overdue orders/worklists and monitor status of critical referrals

Must have qualifications/experience:

High School graduate or GED equivalent

Medical Assistant Certification

Medical Office Experience

Medical Terminology Knowledge

Shift Start/End Time: Monday through Friday 7:30a-5:30p

Dress code: Scrubs, Teal/Gray
