Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Master Electrician to install and configure IT power and electrical equipment for a temporary overseas assignment in Japan. This role requires hands-on experience in electrical installations, particularly within IT environments. The assignment will involve traveling to Japan for the first three weeks of December, with the total duration being less than one month. While an active SECRET clearance is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain IT power systems and electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in a high-tech environment, adhering to local and international electrical codes.
- Work closely with on-site teams to ensure the proper configuration and operation of electrical and IT systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Ensure all work is completed on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical configurations and installations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid and current Master Electrician’s license.
- 10+ years of experience in installing and configuring IT power systems and electrical equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and compliance standards.
- Ability to travel overseas to Japan for the assignment (less than one month).
- Active SECRET clearance preferred but not required.
