Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee a team responsible for executing events and promotions.
  • Develop and manage an annual events and promotions calendar, ensuring strategic planning and execution.
  • Monitor budgets and expenses related to entertainment, special events, and promotional activities.
  • Supervise and coordinate various events, including tournaments, casino promotions, retail activations, and entertainment.
  • Provide financial analysis for all marketing events and promotions to assess performance and ROI.
  • Work closely with the Player Development team to support VIP events and exclusive promotions.
  • Hire, train, develop, and mentor team members, ensuring they receive the necessary support, training, and resources.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of promotions, including kiosk promotions, drafting rules, ordering supplies, and logistical planning.
  • Collaborate with the database manager and brand marketing team to ensure effective communication and promotional materials.
  • Recruit and manage promotional staff for special events as needed.
  • Plan and execute events from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with target audience and business objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely management of contracts, payments, and schedules.
  • Monitor event performance and ticketing processes to ensure compliance with OSHA, Gaming Control Board regulations, and other audits.
  • Support marketing and property leadership by aligning promotional strategies with overall business goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments to meet their special entertainment needs.
  • Effectively communicate marketing objectives and updates to the team, ensuring alignment and execution.
  • Represent the marketing department professionally in all external and internal interactions.
  • Ensure all departmental event procedures are clearly communicated and understood.
  • Gain experience in all aspects of casino marketing, including areas beyond the outlined responsibilities.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support marketing initiatives.
