The Opportunity

Perkins Eastman is seeking a Marketing/Graphic Design Coordinator to join our New York office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with teams across the firm, contributing to the development of compelling print and digital materials that effectively communicate our expertise. Beyond graphic design experience, this position requires strong verbal and written communication skills, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving.

The Marketing/Graphic Design Coordinator will play a key role in all stages of the procurement process, from strategy development to proposal preparation and interviews, while fulfilling graphic design needs within tight deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Uphold and implement Perkins Eastman’s “Human by Design” graphic standards.
  • Collaborate with architectural and marketing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Develop innovative, contemporary graphic design concepts and present multiple iterations for review.
  • Create and manage content for print (proposals, presentations, invitations, brochures, layouts, newsletters, infographics, advertisements, posters) and digital platforms (marketing collateral, website, social media, animations, events).
  • Organize and structure content to enhance clarity and impact in proposals and presentations.
  • Design visually compelling financial tables, charts, and infographics to simplify complex information.
  • Work closely with principals, project managers, and technical staff to develop relevant marketing materials.
  • Support marketing and business development initiatives within the firm’s practice areas.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of marketing as a client-focused service.
  • High level of design sensibility and graphic design expertise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage documents and resources effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in graphic design/marketing within the A/E/C industry.
  • Experience creating print and digital marketing materials, preferably in architecture or related fields.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with current design trends.
  • Ability to work in a Windows-based environment.
  • Strong layout skills with a modern and innovative design aesthetic.
  • Ability to conceptualize and present new design ideas.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions and direction.
  • Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.
