About the job

We are currently seeking a Marketing Communications & Social Media Specialist to support marketing and social media efforts for our client. This position involves developing new marketing materials, managing social media content and posts, and performing website updates on a WordPress platform. You will work closely with a small team to deliver high-quality, polished, on-brand communications in a fast-paced environment.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, experience in social media content creation, and excellent attention to detail.

 

Location: Onsite – Brentwood, TN 37027

Employment Type: Contract

Start Date: ASAP

Hours per Week: Full-Time, 40 hours, 8a-5p, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $32-$39/hr

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of integrated marketing strategies, including digital, print, and social campaigns.
  • Manage the execution of marketing plans and ensure campaigns are delivered on time.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor insights to improve marketing performance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to set measurable goals and track campaign performance using KPIs.
  • Create reports and presentations on marketing performance for internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with leadership to create marketing plans that align with business goals.
  • Track performance metrics and provide recommendations for future campaigns based on data insights.
  • Develop and update marketing materials using InDesign to ensure brand consistency.
  • Create and manage social media content, including headers and graphics for Meta (Facebook/Instagram), X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn.
  • Create and schedule engaging content, including posts, videos, and stories, tailored to different audiences.
  • Ensure posts adhere to brand guidelines and maintain engagement across all platforms.
  • Mix of creative content development and hands-on marketing coordination.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet tight deadlines and turn around requests quickly.
  • Oversee basic website updates on a WordPress site, including content and layout adjustments.
  • Edit flyers, social media copy, and other marketing collateral to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Create and schedule engaging content, including posts, videos, and stories, tailored to different audiences.
  • Monitor social media channels for engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community growth.

 

Core Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing, social media management, and content development.
  • Strong proficiency in InDesign, WordPress, and social media platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • High attention to detail, with a strong commitment to producing error-free materials.
