Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager for our Los Angeles Distribution Center. This individual will oversee daily operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient transaction processing, robust cash management, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will lead by example, performing transactions when necessary and fostering a high-performing, results-oriented culture.

Essential Functions

Inventory Management:

· Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.

· Monitor stock levels, identifying and addressing discrepancies promptly.

Transaction Oversight:

· Ensure efficient and accurate processing of orders, deliveries, and shipments.

· Perform transaction-related tasks when needed to support the team.

Cash Management:

· Oversee cash handling processes, ensuring accuracy and security.

· Implement and monitor cash controls to mitigate risks.

Reporting and Compliance:

· Prepare and submit timely and accurate operational reports.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and cannabis industry regulations.

Team Leadership:

· Build and sustain a high-performing culture within the team.

· Train, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve operational excellence.

· Lead by example, demonstrating commitment to company values and operational standards.

· High inventory accuracy and minimal discrepancies.

· Consistently efficient transaction processing times.

· Secure and accurate cash handling with no losses.

· Timely submission of reports with actionable data.

· Improved team performance and engagement.

 

Basic Qualifications

 

Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the cannabis, CPG, or distribution industries.
Strong understanding of inventory and cash management principles.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze operational data and generate actionable insights.
Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
Proficiency in operational software and reporting tools.
Knowledge of cannabis industry regulations is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications

 

– Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field preferred

– General knowledge of Odoo preferred

 

Supervisory Responsibility

 

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Pay Range

 

$100k-$120k + bonus potential

 

Working Environment

 

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is regularly exposed to raw cannabis flower and cannabis derived products.
