About the job

Your new company

A UK-owned manufacturer with ambitious plans for 2025 and beyond seeks a commercially minded management accountant with strong analytical qualities and cost management skills.

Your new role

You will play a key role in the preparation & analysis of the monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain costing models to support pricing decisions, labour and unit costs as well as profitability analysis. You will collaborate with production and operations teams to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for savings. Furthermore, you will assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitor key financial metrics whilst providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant with strong analytical qualities and knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles. You will demonstrate an excellent business partnering style and relish working closely with non-finance stakeholders.
