Responsibilities:
Analysis:
- Track and trace inbound freight shipments from multiple vendor distribution centers to Burlington’s distribution campuses.
- Regularly analyze and monitor vendor performance, identifying underperforming vendors and developing strategic action plans to enhance shipping efficiency.
- Proactively anticipate potential issues and suggest innovative solutions.
Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with merchants by maintaining credibility and responsiveness.
- Support merchants with analysis and updates on the status of their merchandise.
- Collaborate with vendors, domestic carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Engage with internal and external partners, both in-person and virtually, to address issues and coordinate shipments efficiently.
- Approach challenges with a positive mindset and turn them into opportunities for improvement.
Reporting:
- Generate daily reports to track and monitor the progress of purchase orders from creation to receipt.
- Coordinate and lead recap meetings with merchant and leadership teams at all levels.
- Create ad hoc reports as needed, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery with a keen attention to detail.
Communication:
- Deliver critical information clearly, concisely, and professionally to internal and external partners.
- Lead meetings with internal and external partners independently, adapting communication styles to suit different audiences and scenarios.
Qualifications:
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization, including vendors, carriers, third-party providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Korean, or Chinese is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
