What You’ll Do
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role on the AJATC medical team, providing essential health care services to students within the scope of your license. Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering immunizations, TB screenings, and flu vaccines
- Supporting overall health maintenance for both students and staff
- Assisting in training employees on key health topics such as sports injury prevention, bloodborne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders
- Managing medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment to ensure the medical team is well-equipped
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Hold a current LPN license in the state of Arkansas
- Be at least 21 years old
- Pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and TB test
- Clear a child and adult abuse central registry search
- Meet ROP driver eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver’s license
