Your Role as a Manager

The Licensed Optician & Manager at Eye Optical Brampton plays a pivotal role in delivering the brand’s value proposition and establishing Eye Optical as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community. You will:

• Welcome Customers: Greet every customer and set clear expectations for an exceptional experience.
• Custom Fit Glasses: Precisely place prescriptions in lenses and ensure glasses fit perfectly.
• Leadership in Optical Acumen: Act as a leader and mentor in optical expertise.
• Measurement Accuracy: Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, and ensure finished products meet standards.
• Complex Product Handling: Assist with challenging prescriptions and product needs.
• Technological Proficiency: Accurately and efficiently use technology, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and employing appropriate tools.
• Customer Satisfaction: Proactively address root causes of issues, ensuring expectations are exceeded and solutions are found.
• Time Management: Handle multiple priorities effectively, managing competing demands with ease.
• Store Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store environment.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to company policies, promotions, and inventory management practices while demonstrating safe work practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Optician: Must hold a valid Ontario Optician license.
• Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead teams and drive business growth.
• Sales and Service Expertise: Strong track record in optical sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

• Basic Qualifications:

• Optical dispensing experience and state licensure.
• Familiarity with fashion trends and advanced technology like tablets/iPads.
• Proficiency in POS systems, calculators, and basic math skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous retail and customer service experience.
