Your Role

As an LGV Driver at Kuehne+Nagel, you will be a vital part of our supply chain operations. Representing Kuehne+Nagel on the road, you will ensure timely and secure deliveries while upholding the highest standards of customer service.

Your Responsibilities

  • Operate a Large Goods Vehicle (LGV) with a strong emphasis on safety, ensuring goods are delivered securely and efficiently to their destinations.
  • Comply with all traffic regulations.
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections, promptly report any defects, and ensure the overall upkeep of the LGV.
  • Maintain clear communication and promptly resolve any issues that arise during operations.
  • Provide a high standard of service, representing the company positively.
  • Safely load, unload, and transport goods as required.
  • Complete delivery-related documentation, including logbooks and any necessary paperwork, ensuring full compliance with record-keeping standards.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience in customer delivery services.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
  • Essential: Valid Category B, C+E driving licence.
  • Preferably: Valid ADR Training Certificate (Categories 1-9, excluding 7, with accepted packages for Category 7).
  • Up-to-date Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
