ABC Teachers is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support students in an SEN school in Coventry. Starting in April 2025, this full-time role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students with severe and profound learning difficulties. You will work closely with experienced staff, providing one-on-one and small-group support to students aged 4 to 19, helping them reach their full potential. This position has the potential to become ongoing for the right candidate.

What We’re Looking For

To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant role, you should:

  • Have experience working with children with SEN, including autism, sensory needs, or learning difficulties

  • Possess relevant qualifications (e.g., Youth Work, Health & Social Care, Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools) – not essential but desirable

  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students

  • Be able to obtain suitable references and an Enhanced DBS check
