About the job
Publicly held Global Manufacturing and Technology company seeking a Senior Leader in their Audit Department, open due to growth. Reports directly as the right hand to the Audit Director. Manage and mentor a team of Auditors at all levels in all financial aspects of the business. This is a full-time permanent position paying a market base plus bonus potential, excellent benefits and growth trajectory in this department or other areas of the company. The role requires some domestic and international travel February through October and has flexible work schedule around travel as well as days off and work from home 1/2 days.
What are they seeking in a candidate?
Bachelor degree or higher in Accounting or Audit required
Summary of the role:
The Lead Auditor participates in and leads a variety of internal audit assignments and projects including, risk control assessments, financial and operational audits, internal financial investigations, process reviews, SOX compliance, and acquisition integration. The successful candidate is responsible for all aspects of the audit engagement and must be able to work without constant supervision, prioritize and lead and mentor the team.
CPA or CIA preferred
Internal audit experience working with multiple departments
SOX experience required
Ability to lead and mentor a team and foster a positive upbeat culture
