Company Overview
Guided by the belief that everyone deserves a safe and decent place to live, Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976 as a grassroots initiative on a community farm in southern Georgia. Since then, it has grown into a leading global nonprofit, working in communities across all 50 U.S. states and more than 70 countries.
Families and individuals in need partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve homes they can call their own. Homeowners contribute to the construction of their homes alongside volunteers and repay an affordable mortgage. Through financial contributions, volunteering, or advocating for affordable housing, everyone can play a role in helping families gain the strength, stability, and self-reliance needed for a better future. Through shelter, we empower.
