Senior or Lead Business Analyst – Airline Loyalty Management experience required

Location: Hybrid – 2 days a week in the office.

Candidates must live in Doha, Abu Dhabi or Dubai

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior/Lead Business Analyst with a strong background in the aviation sector to lead and drive critical business initiatives. This person must have experience working on a loyalty management programme for an airline.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of expertise in business analysis, with proven experience in loyalty management transformation programs, coupled with deep knowledge of core aviation products and processes. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, perform detailed analyses, and deliver solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders across the organization.
  • Effectively communicate business needs and facilitate alignment between diverse teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, bridging the gap between business goals and technical solutions.

Requirements Elicitation & Analysis:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements.
  • Analyze business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Perform gap analyses to identify areas of improvement and recommend viable solutions.

Process Mapping & Optimization:

  • Develop and maintain detailed process maps to reflect current and future state processes.
  • Propose enhancements to streamline operations and improve efficiency across key business functions.

Loyalty Management Transformation:

  • Lead and contribute to the delivery of loyalty management transformation programs, ensuring they meet the needs of the business and its customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of loyalty programs, driving customer engagement and retention.

Business Architecture (Optional):

  • Support the design and implementation of business architectures to align with strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance business processes through innovative solutions and frameworks.

Industry and Market Research:

  • Conduct in-depth research on aviation industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive benchmarks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to guide strategic decision-making and solution design.

Testing & Validation:

  • Develop user acceptance testing (UAT) plans and oversee UAT execution to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to verify functionality and resolve issues during testing phases.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Significant experience in business analysis – Must have worked on a loyalty management programme for an airline.
  • Strong understanding of loyalty management systems and core aviation products (e.g., ticketing, flight operations, reservations, ancillary services).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in process mapping tools, requirements management tools, and familiarity with business architecture principles.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and manage conflicting priorities effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Adaptability: A proactive and adaptable mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
